Meet the maker
My name is Elin Angharad, and I create leather goods in Machynlleth, Mid-Wales. I established my business in 2018 after graduating from an Artist, Designer; Maker degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University. After experimenting in all materials, I found my love of working with leather whilst on work experience during my second year, and I never looked back.
In January 2018 I was fortunate enough to be able to start my business from my home town in Machynlleth. I create a range quality leather accessories, all of which are strictly sewn by hand and only use traditional methods. Quality, longevity and timeless style are my priority.
In July 2023 I opened my first high street shop in 37 Heol Maengwyn, Machynlleth, where I am able to make and sell my work. This happens to also be Laura Ashley’s first shop.

The shop is located on the high-street of Machynlleth, a small historic market town in Wales. 20 minutes from the thriving little harbour resort set within the Snowdonia National Park Aberdyfi, and 40 minutes from the university and seaside town of Aberystwyth.
You are welcome to come and visit the shop during the opening hours listed here. Alternatively, I am flexible and happy to see you on other days by appointment.
